Half-Blood Hill is a text-based role-playing site, where members can create a character through writing, as if they were writing a story. Their character can interact with others’ characters through forums, by posting messages that create and develop sub-plots. This role-playing site is based on the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" book series by Rick Riordan.

Half-Blood Hill can be a great learning opportunity for your child. It can help develop their reading and creative writing skills, along with general spelling and grammar. In fact, we have a section of the site called Role-Play School, where your child is critiqued and given suggestions on their role-plays in an encouraging way. Your child is not required to participate in Role-Play School, but many people choose to in order to further their skills.

Inappropriate posts are not tolerated on Half-Blood Hill. Once discovered by the moderators, any questionable content on this site will be deleted. The poster may also be banned, depending on the severity of the post.

We strongly discourage sharing private information on our site, but it can be difficult to enforce.  Parents need to emphasize to their children the importance of not posting personal information online.
